Friday night Kelissa graduated. I can't believe this day has come. It seems like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. She was a breech baby and that day when she entered the world backwards I should have known this was to be a sign to me. Her next eighteen years she would prove she didn't do anything with the same standard or status quo as her counter parts. In all aspects of her life she has proven she does not have to follow the standard or direction of the world. I'm proud of that. Now she will be heading off to a college of her choosing to pursue a degree of her choosing and I don't have to worry about the world changing her view though she might change a few viewpoints of others along the way, she will make a great lawyer! When she was 14 I told her in no uncertain terms that if she maintained a standard of excellence through her high school years and didn't waiver in her character I would send her off to college in style. Call it a bribe if you will but I intended to bless her for overcoming peer pressure and striving forward to a higher purpose. She did all that and more so.................. we surprised her with a BMW. She had no idea we had hid it over at a neighbors house and shortly after graduation she arrived back at the house and got the surprise. She is hard to excite so I didn't know what kind of reaction to expect......... well my hopes were filled, I have no other picture passed the last blurry one in the bottom of this post because she ran over and dove on me. My camera went flying and it is broken to pieces. It was all worth it. Love my baby girl all grown up now! God bless you and sustain you always!!!

That is so awesome. Iam so proud of Kelissa, and am thrilled that you all blessed her sooooo good. You, Jeff, and Kelissa will never forget that moment. What a joy!! I wished I could have been a fly on the wall when she saw the new car.
What a great way to congratulate her!!! I am sure you are so proud of her and her choices...What fun the future holds for a girls who can hold her head up high as she relies on God as her guide. What a great blessing to have a daughter like that!
