Cason the new secretary
It is so wonderful after training three secretaries only to lose them a few months later, that now I am training Cason to do the accounting for our business. It looks like he will go to college on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and then on Tuesdays and Thursdays he will do all the office work for the next two years. This is great training if he ever decides to run the family business. (hint, hint) I will have more time to chase after everyone if I am not stuck in the office all day. I have to say he has caught on faster than anyone I have trained and complains less! It guess it beats feeding cattle and spraying mesquite trees!Monday, August 18, 2008
My Little Mayan Indian!
Mayan indians live primarily in the mountainous areas of Guatemala. A few thousand years and a little adaptation and we have a little climber on our hands! You can hang her to the door facing and she will stick like glue! She has been an excellent climber since we first brought her home. She gives a new meaning to "the kids are climbing the walls!"
Cason's first day of college!
I can't believe my baby left for college this morning! Yes, I am sad today. It is hard to believe he is a grown man, well nearly! lol He was so thoughtful this morning I thought Oh you DID do a good job raising him. He came into my room at 7:00 this morning to hug me and give me a kiss and let me know he knew this would be a hard day for me so he thought I needed a hug. He has already called me this morning to let me know all is well so I'm a proud mommy today even though I have a tough time letting go.Thursday, August 14, 2008

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Hello! Today I created this blog site so not too spiffy yet, but I will work on it. Today was the first day of school for Kelissa and Kade so it's a sad day for me. I always get the blaaas the first day of school. Even with two toddlers in the house it's just too quiet! No, that doesn't make sense! lol Oh well, Cason starts to college on Monday so I'll be sad again! Kade is playing football so we are gearing up for all the junior high games. Kelissa is in softball and is already having games! The schedule has games five days a week until September 11th! We will be dying! She is also in cheerleading so we will be at all the high school games as well this year. She is also the Miss Altus Outstanding Teen so we will be making several appearances throughout the year. Anyway..................... we will be on the run! Chloe and Chi get on your running shoes!
