A Few Random Pics from Miss Ok Pageant

This past week was none less than brutal for Kelissa. Waking every morning at 5:45am and getting to bed as late a 1:00 am from Sunday through Saturday was a barely survivable schedule. She did not make the top ten but did get some nice scholarships and many new friends. She had a blast! I guess as the 'mom' judge I would say she was in the running in every category except for talent. It killed her. Those girls were amazing in their talents. Kelissa will have to focus on her dance for a whole year in order to get on the stage with some of the girls we saw at state. She was spoiled absolutely rotten by her pageant committe who gave her gifts every time we turned around!

It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun! She goes to HOBY this Friday, then Dallas, then Colorado, then church camp, then cheerleading camp, then Miss Altus, then Patriots Academy, so we have a lot of running around ahead of us!!!

Oh My Time Flies!

Oh my I can't believe how long it's been since the last post. Really life is good and I miss every one of my blogger friends. Things have been quite crazy here. School is out!!! yeah!!!!! Kelissa is at Miss Oklahoma's Outstanding Teen pageant in Tulsa this week and finishes her pageant on Friday night, so we are heading up there on Wednesday. Ray and Terri came for a visit last week and we had a blast! You can look on her blog http://isaiahandabbie.blogspot.com/ to see pics. Work has been extra busy. Cason is taking online summer classes and working. Kade is working and Kelissa will be as soon as this pageant ends.
