Trying to decode what any toddler is saying can be difficult, but throw in the Spanish accent along with Southern drawl and it creates a whole new playing field. Last night Chloe and Chi went to Grandma's at about dinner time. Later I asked them if they had anything to eat while there. Chi quickly piped up, "YES! Pot of Pee!!!!" Looking rather puzzled, I asked Chloe what she had, "POOT!" Chi said, "I had poot too! Pot of pee and poot!" Ok, are they trying to disgust me now or what! And yes, they sometimes do. So I decide to give Grandma a turn. I asked her WHAT she fed my children. She said, "Oh, Chi just loved cottage cheese and Chloe ate the fruit." OH........... pot of pee - cottage cheese, and poot - fruit. Now I have it, they ate cottage cheese and fruit!!! This happens most every day by the way.
Here's another one, Chloe says, "I boke my dollar bone on the tumbleweed." Translation: "I broke my collar bone on the trampoline!"

ROFL!! It started with the great snap of the beef lover and made it to fully belly with the 'pot of pee'! Thanks for lifting my mood.
