My Baby turns 21 Today!

 

 

C hild from heaven sent with love.

A nswered prayer from up above.

S on God sent we love so much!

O ur first born son our baby boy,

N o other gift could bring such joy!

I can’t believe my baby is 21 years old!  Wow how time flies!  Seems like yesterday I was too naive to know I was in labor and made it to the hospital two hours before his delivery still saying I don’t think it’s labor pain.  What a true joy my oldest son has been.

I’ll never forget when you were three years old and had horrible ear infections and you swore angels came in your room during the night and made you ears well.  Strange… you never had an infection again.  I’ll never forget the dinosaur infatuation that fueled your desire to be a paleontologist in first grade.  I’ll never forget the first discipline notice you got in first grade for spilling out a stream of curse words that would make a sailor blush, and you didn’t even know what you were saying.  I still cried.  I’ll always admire your strong determination to succeed in life displaying it by never yet having received less than an A since preschool.  I love your sense of duty to do the right thing.  I love your faith in God and knowledge of the Bible.  I love your silly fun loving way, but at the same time a serious side that always comes through.  I love that you determined in third grade that big kids were not going to beat you up and you have been lifting weights ever since.  I love that you starting working when you were 13 years old and have an understanding of the value of a hard earned dollar and don’t waste a dime.  I love who you are and what you will become, you are my hero, my son, my angel and I love you with an endearing heart.  Happy Birthday!
