I Would Gather Children

Some would gather money
Along the path of life
Some would gather roses,
And rest from strife.

But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin,
I would seek a golden curl,
And a freckled, toothless grin.

For money cannot enter
In the land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way.

But oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to heaven,
I can take them in with me!

THE SANDERS SEVEN

Create in them a pure heart, O God, and let that purity of heart be shown in their actions. Ps. 51:10
Hello from the Sanders family. We created this site for friends and family to keep up with us. We are a very busy family and need all the shortcuts we can get. I will try to keep everyone up on what is going on but no promises! God Bless You! We love ya! The Sanders
I pray that faith will find root and grow in my children's hearts, that by faith they may gain what has been promised to them.

Psalm 82
1 God presides over heaven’s court;
he pronounces judgment on the heavenly beings:
2 “How long will you hand down unjust decisions
by favoring the wicked?
3 “Give justice to the poor and the orphan;
uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.
4 Rescue the poor and helpless;
deliver them from the grasp of evil people.
5 But these oppressors know nothing;
they are so ignorant!
They wander about in darkness,
while the whole world is shaken to the core.
6 I say, ‘You are gods;
you are all children of the Most High.
7 But you will die like mere mortals
and fall like every other ruler.’”
8 Rise up, O God, and judge the earth,
for all the nations belong to you!

About Me

My photo
Lisa
I am a many hat wearing 40 something year old mom married to my high school sweetheart of 26 years. We have a son just graduated from OSU with an engineering degree. We have a daughter at OCU getting a Law degree. We have a son who is a Freshman at OSU. We adopted two angels from Guatemala shortly before the country closed in late 2006. They are now in second grade. We have a three year old old we adopted here in the US. We have a one year old we adopted from the Marshall Islands. We are gathering our children through adoption and it is our honor and privilege to serve God this way. Life is funny, full and tirelessly a joy. We are blessed beyond measure. We live each day seeking God in His awesome and unfolding plan for each of us.
